In the first 5 months of 2010 I have read 16 "new to me" authors (that is, this is the first book I've ever read by this author).

Why MYSTERIES? Because that is the genre I read.
Why PARADISE? Because that is where I live.
Among other things, this blog, the result of a 2008 New Year's resolution,
will act as a record of books that I've read, and random thoughts.

I see at least a few of those are for the global challenge Kerrie so it has expanded your reading like it has mine. Of the 70 books I've finished so far this year 39 have been by new to me authors! What I'm struggling to work out is when I'm going to get to read second books by anyone but I am definitely on a discovery kick at the moment.
Yep, lots there that I've never heard of. The past year or so I seem to be reading lots ow wrtiers that I've never heard of!
Kerrie - I like this label, and I like the feature. Thanks for sharing these with us : ).
Good idea!
I also count my new authors once in a while, but I won´t try to compete with Bernadette.
Sonds like you've had a great time reading recently. Thanks for sharing these titles and these reviews.
