2010 Global Reading Challenge - Update November 1

I am restricting my participation in the 2010 Global Reading Challenge to crime fiction titles, but participants can use books of any genre of their choosing.
Join the challenge here.

create your own visited country map

The Extremist Level
Read three novels from each of these continents in 2010:

Africa
Asia
Australasia
Europe
North America (incl Central America)
South America
Add two novels which are set in Antarctica
+ a ´wildcard´ novel (a novel from a place or period that is NEW to you).

And if you are really an extreme reader, you will do your best to read novels from 21 different countries or states.

Select novels from 21 different countries or states.: My count so far: 17

This is amazing and inspiring. I noticed that the map doesn't signify having read a book in Saudi Arabia, although maybe because it's a "wild card," it doesn't count in the continents' goal?

I'm only aiming for the Medium level of 2 books from each of 6 continents and have one from Asia and one from South America to go. However, have read books from 16 countries, which is a first.

The challenges are great.

Thanks for the eagle eyes Kathy. Somehow I left Saudi Arabia off my list when I generated the map. It is there now,

Thanks back. I'm cursed with the proofreading gene, I think.

But I have liked the maps posted of this and other websites of the global book challenge and notice any new countries.
